INSOT Facility Section (IFS)

  • Facilities for Materials Testing In - Sodium (INSOT) to study the mechanical properties of PFBR materials in flowing sodium at high temperature of 600ºC

  • Low Cycle Fatigue (LCF) and Creep-Fatigue Interaction (CFI) studies in sodium environment

  • Pin-on-Disc tribometer studies in liquid sodium
