Engineering Services Group of Indira Gandhi Centre for Atomic Research has been providing the following services to IGCAR.
Electrical Engineering & Communication Services
Air conditioning & Ventilation system services for both radioactive and non-radioactive systems
Central Workshop services
The capability of the divisions is from conceptual design to execution of the project, its operation, maintenance, sustenance and up gradation. The group, is one of the biggest groups in the centre and the whole group is working in harmony, and is getting appreciative feed back of satisfactory services from the end users. The group also has contributed its services to units other than IGCAR namely, within Kalpakkam to Projects such as NDDP and AUGF and outside Kalpakkam to facilities like Rare Materials Project, Mysore, National Centre for Biological Sciences, Bangalore, Harischandra Institute of Mathematics, (HIM) Allahabad.
